We're here to announce the initial beta release of Birdzoom.com!

Birdzoom is an online application that allows you to track, manage and review your birding information and share it with your friends. You can create lists and maps of your information using a host of different criteria. You can also search and explore other birders’ sightings—you’ll be able to keep track of what’s been seen in your neighborhood lately, or identify which birds you might want to keep your eye out for at your next travel destination.

What we need now is your help putting the system through the ringer so we can work out the kinks. Signing up is easy and free, just click the Join Now button at the top of the page.

After this beta testing period, we will be rolling Birdzoom out as a paid service, in the $5/month range. To show our appreciation for joining now during our beta testing phase, we’ll be inviting our beta testers to continue using Birdzoom for an additional 6 months free of charge.
